Matthew Gartner
Matthew Gartner earned a BASc in Structural Engineering from the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction, so he could help build the best pickleball community in the Western hemisphere.
Matthew has accumulated a decade of coaching experience at the former Northfield Racquet Club and Westmount Golf & Country Club, where he had the pleasure of helping players from age 7 to 70 and everywhere in between.
Having won WCSSAA, CWOSSA, and OFSAA with SJAM, and placing third in OUAS while competing for the University of Waterloo's Varsity Tennis Team, where he earned the Academic All-Canadian Award, Matthew now brings his energy and insights into the wonderful world of pickleball.
When not on the pickleball court, Matthew can be found on a tennis court, shredding slopes somewhere, or lakeside with a 10lb smallmouth bass on the end of his line.
